Learn about our journey, values, and the passionate team behind The Ssenoga Foundation's transformative work in Uganda
Founded in 2019, The Ssenoga Foundation emerged from a deep commitment to address the intersecting challenges of education and nutrition, in Uganda's most vulnerable communities.
What began as a small initiative to support orphans in Kampala District has grown into a comprehensive development organization impacting thousands of children and families across eight districts.
Our name honors the legacy of Mr Ssenoga Vincent, whose generational commitment to community empowerment inspired us to create lasting change through education and agricultural innovation.
To empower Ugandan children and communities through integrated education, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture programs that break cycles of poverty and create self-sufficient futures.
Being a community leading best organisation with best approches that promote educational, healthy and children needs that are currently in our community.
We combine immediate relief with long-term solutions, working hand-in-hand with communities to develop programs that address root causes while meeting urgent needs.
The Ssenoga Foundation is committed to sustainable, community-led development that respects local knowledge while introducing innovative solutions.
We measure our success not just by numbers reached, but by lasting transformation in the lives of children and families we serve.
Our programs are designed to create multiplier effects - educating a child who then shares agricultural knowledge with their family, who then improves yields to support children's education.
Our dedicated team combines local expertise with innovative approaches to create lasting change in Ugandan communities.
